Just one of those days
Today was one of those special summer weekend days. There were no pool or bbq parties, but it was this simple and slow day that made me appreciate the little things. We got up in the morning and headed to the farmer's market for seasonal veggies, fresh flowers, and crispy bread. After whipping up some breakfast back home we watched a movie, then Dr. Love headed to bed in preparation for a night shift and I went off to run errands. I ended up at the mall, returning a few items at AE, where by the way, I'm always embarrassed when in the store because I just feel way too old standing in line next to parents buying graphic tees and micro shorts for their teenagers.
