Boring Basic or Hidden Gem?
I’ve always struggled with buying basics, because they aren’t very exciting to add to my closet.
This black tee is the poster child for boring-basic-turned-wardrobe-workhorse. It hung in my closet, unworn for a couple of years before I realized how versatile it was during my year without shopping.
Now? It’s threadbare, and probably definitely needs to be thrown out, but it makes such a great foundation for an outfit I can’t bear to part with it just yet.
