Outfit: The Skeleton Key
I don't know why the old fashioned skeleton key holds so much aesthetic appeal, but yeah I think they're really pretty. I don't believe it's "golden age thinking" or the idea that things from the past were better, but mere retrophilia. I like old things; they're intriguing and today's modern minimalist design isn't always my cup of tea. I like ornamentalism; decorative and functional design even if sometimes it becomes "too much." Anyway, I couldn't resist this key print dress which is pretty blatantly Dolce & Gabbana inspired (and I did predict their key prints would start a trend). .
