Outfit: Sunnyside Up
One of my suggestions for shopping is to try to imagine each new piece you want to purchase with three different outfits or pieces of clothing already in your closet. I always feel like a good outfit isn't head-to-toe new items, but when new items mix so seamlessly with old ones it was clearly a good decision to get them. Like this cheery yellow jacket; it's part of a co-ord set with matching skirt (that I wore here), but matches so perfectly with my vintage dress and old sunglasses that I feel Clueless level coordination. It's closet kismet. Of course, it's easy enough if you develop a personal palette and everything you buy falls into a set spectrum of colors....
