Pictures by Alison L. We took the opportunity of a respite from Fashion Week to visit another side of New York, Williamsburg. Hard to imagine you were just a few kilometers from a metropolis. The East River seemed to break up the landscape into two distinct parts. Crossing the bridge was like leaving the bustle of the city behind. No high-rises here but an arty neighborhood full of cute (including Vintage) stores.
