Dressing Up for Work Events
At the end of the final semester, my school requires all of our teachers Kindergarten through the Upper School (our fancy way of saying "high school") to attend Baccalaureate and Graduation. The entire faculty processes and recesses in front of everyone, so our dress code is a little more formal (men are required to wear ties and jackets, while women have to "dress up"). "Dress up" is quite the ambiguous phrase, but women are certainly harder to codify. I wanted to look dressy, but I also wanted to be comfortable.
For Baccalaureate, I chose to wear my Jason Wu for Target navy poplin dress:
